“四海之内皆兄弟，五湖其外尽友邦。”语言可以让我们相互理解，让我们对话古人，寄语未来，表达思想，加强沟通。今年，南京工业职业技术学院（本科）首届留学生汉语演讲大赛将于5月份举行。
大赛目的
本次大赛旨在为留学生提供展示和锻炼汉语能力的平台，创造互相学习和交流的机会，充实留学生的业余生活，以激励他们学习汉语的热情和兴趣，增进对汉语和中华文化的理解，保留异国风情的同时，增强归属感和凝聚力，融入南工院的学习和生活。
大赛主题
留学生以“我眼中的中国”为主题，通过讲述自己以及身边人、身边事的方式，用真实典型、鲜活生动的事例，来 抒发对主题的理解。

参赛对象
全体在校留学生（包括学历生、语言生和南非项目学生）。
大赛内容
汉语语言能力、中国文化知识。
大赛流程
大赛分为初赛和决赛。
初赛：从 3 月初开始，由各班级举行班级内部的推选并 推荐 2 名同学参加学院初赛，最终推选出 15 名优秀选手参 加学院 5 月份的决赛。
决赛：通过抽签决定出场顺序，每位参赛者根据指定的 主题进行汉语演讲（约 3 分钟），并回答评委提问。评委现场 打分，按分数高低确定最终排名。若疫情在决赛时还未结束，采取视频演讲的形式，邀请评委对视频打分，按分数高低确 定最终排名。
奖项设置
本次大赛设一等奖 2 名、二等奖 3 名、三等奖 5 名、优 秀奖 5 名，国际教育学院给所有获奖者颁发相应奖品和证书。

Boys and girls, Attention please, there will be a Chinese Speech Contest organized by International Education College of NIIT on May 20th. This is a good chance for you to show yourself and practice your oral Chinese. Welcome to join us.
Title
The title of the speech contest is “我眼中的中国” (China in my eyes). The length of the speech is about 3 minutes.
Participants
All foreign students in NIIT can enter your name for the contest.
Procedure
1) Application
Students apply for the contest with the class tutor. Each class will recommend 2 students to take part in the preliminary contest. The due date for recommendation is March 15th.
2) Preparation for the preliminary contest
Students make a video of the speech and send it to the contact person. The due date for this is April 10th.
3) Preliminary contest
Due to the affection of epidemic disease, the preliminary contest will be operated online by judging the videos of the students. Finally, 15 students will be chosen for the final contest. This will be done before April 15th.
4) Preparation for the final contest.
Students revise and recite the speech draft with the help of teachers and Chinese students from English Studying Club.
5) Final contest
The order of the contestants will be determined by drawing lots. Each contestant will make a speech according to the title (about 3 minutes). After the speech, the judges will ask questions based on the speech and the contestant should answer the questions of the judges. The judges will give scores according to the speech segment and ask-answer question segment and decide the final ranking of the contestants.
Prize
The contest sets First prize (2 persons), Second prize (3 persons), Third prize (5 persons) and Participation prize (5 persons). All the winners will be awarded with prize and certificate.
Submission of works
Students who take part in the contest should send the video and speech draft to the contact teacher according to the required date.
