To deepen theoretical learning on an ongoing basis, consolidate the achievements of Party discipline education, and strengthen the theoretical foundation of Party members, the Party branch directly under the International Education College and the LSBU-NJUIT Joint Institute organized a 2026 Party Members' Essential Knowledge Contest on April 30. All Party members of the branch participated enthusiastically.
The contest adhered to the principle of promoting knowledge through learning and action through knowledge. The question bank was extensive and comprehensive, covering Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Party Constitution and regulations, the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Party discipline regulations, and essential knowledge related to higher education Party building and integrity education, providing a thorough assessment of members' daily learning progress. The contest included mandatory and buzzer rounds, creating an intense yet orderly atmosphere. Contestants were in high spirits, quick to respond, and answered questions with composure and fluency, fully demonstrating their solid theoretical grounding and positive outlook. Audience members watched attentively and actively participated in the interactive Q&A session, fostering a vibrant learning environment of healthy competition, mutual assistance, and collective progress.
The knowledge contest served as both a comprehensive review of theoretical learning outcomes and a vivid practice of Party spirit education. Participants identified gaps through competition and deepened their understanding through exchange, effectively stimulating their initiative in self-directed learning. Moving forward, the branch will use this contest as an opportunity to advance the normalization and long-term institutionalization of Party members' theoretical study, guiding all members to translate learning outcomes into concrete actions for fulfilling duties and taking on responsibilities. The branch will continue to strengthen its role as a fighting fortress and consolidate the foundation of grassroots Party building.

本次竞赛坚持以学促知、以知促行，题库内容丰富全面，涵盖习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想、党章党规、党的二十大精神、党纪条例以及高校党建、廉洁教育等应知应会内容，全方位检验党员日常学习成效。竞赛设置必答题、抢答题等环节，现场氛围紧张热烈、秩序井然。参赛选手精神饱满、反应敏捷，答题沉着冷静、对答如流，充分展现出扎实的理论功底和昂扬向上的精神风貌。台下观众认真观赛，在互动答题环节积极参与，形成了比学赶超、互帮共进的良好学习氛围。
此次知识竞赛既是一次理论学习成果的集中检阅，也是一场生动的党性教育实践。大家在比拼中查漏补缺，在交流中深化认知，有效激发了主动学习的积极性。下一步，支部将以此次竞赛为契机，推动党员理论学习常态化、长效化，引导全体党员把学习成果转化为履职尽责、担当作为的实际行动，不断强化支部战斗堡垒作用，筑牢基层党建根基。
