The 2025 Jiangsu Provincial Teaching Observation Competition for International Students recently concluded its final round. Held at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications on November 28–29, the competition brought together 172 teachers from 61 universities across the province. Following on-site expert evaluation and comprehensive deliberation by the review committee, NJUIT teachers achieved notable success with two honors: Yang Lili from the International Education College won second prize in the undergraduate category for her course Comprehensive Chinese, while Gao Guoqiang from the School of Mechanical Engineering received third prize in the same category for his course Industrial Robot System Integration.
Co-hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and the Foreign Students Education Management Research Committee of the Jiangsu Higher Education Association, with Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications serving as the organizer, the competition stands as an authoritative event in international student education and teaching in Jiangsu Province. Aligned with the implementation requirements of the Study in Jiangsu initiative, the competition systematically reviews teaching outcomes across the province, provides a platform for sharing teaching experience, and supports improvements in international student education quality. A three-tier selection process—university preliminary, provincial preliminary, and provincial final—was strictly followed, with a dual evaluation model combining online video review and on-site teaching demonstration to ensure professionalism, rigor, and fairness. During the competition, participating teachers from various universities demonstrated solid teaching competence and innovative pedagogical approaches, with high-quality courses presented in succession, collectively showcasing the substantial achievements of Jiangsu's quality-driven development in international student education.
These awards reflect the quality of NJUIT's international student education and teaching. The university will use this competition as an opportunity to further implement the long-term mechanism of promoting teaching, innovation, and learning through competition, and to continuously deepen reforms and innovations in international student education models. Going forward, the university will remain guided by the principles of quality improvement and standardized management, with program development and curriculum development as core priorities. Focusing on quality-driven growth, the university will encourage teachers to actively participate in high-level teaching exchanges and discussions, continuously enhance teaching competence, and make every effort to advance the quality of its international talent development to new levels.
近日，2025年江苏高校外国留学生教学观摩比赛复赛圆满落幕。本次赛事于11月28日至29日在南京邮电大学举行，全省61所高校的172位教师同台竞技，经过专家组现场评审及评审委员会综合审议，我校教师表现突出，喜获两项荣誉：国际教育学院杨立力老师主讲的《汉语综合》获评本科组二等奖，机械工程学院高国强老师主讲的《工业机器人系统集成》获评本科组三等奖。
本次赛事由江苏省教育厅、江苏省高等教育学会外国留学生教育管理研究委员会联合主办，南京邮电大学具体承办，是江苏省外国留学生教育教学领域的权威性赛事。赛事以紧密围绕“留学江苏”行动计划实施要求，旨在系统检阅全省高校外国留学生教学工作成效，搭建教学经验交流平台，助力来华留学生培养质量提升。赛事严格执行“学校选拔—省级初赛—省级复赛”三级遴选机制，采用“线上视频评审+线下现场教学展示”的双重考评模式，确保评审过程的专业性、严谨性与结果公正性。比赛期间，各参赛高校教师充分展现深厚教学功底与创新教学理念，优质课程轮番呈现，集中彰显了江苏省外国留学生教育内涵式发展的丰硕成果。
此次获奖是我校外国留学生教育教学质量的重要体现。学校将以本次赛事为契机，深入落实“以赛促教、以赛促创、以赛促学”长效机制，持续深化来华留学生教育模式改革与创新。下一步，学校将坚持以“提质增效、规范管理”为导向，以专业建设、课程建设为核心抓手，聚焦内涵发展，鼓励教师积极参与高水平教学交流研讨，不断提升教学能力与水平，全力推动学校国际化人才培养质量迈上新台阶。
