To strengthen summer safety protections, enhance safety awareness and self-discipline among international students remaining on campus, standardize holiday management, and ensure a safe and orderly summer stay, the International Education College held a safety education meeting for summer resident students on July 14. Sun Shijuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Vice Dean of the International Education College and LSBU-NJUIT Joint Institute, attended the meeting along with all counselors and international students staying on campus for the summer.
At the meeting, Sun Shijuan delivered comprehensive and targeted safety education based on key summer campus safety priorities and the actual circumstances of international students on campus. She emphasized core daily safety management requirements, urging all international students to strictly observe dormitory regulations, eliminate potential safety hazards, and practice proper electrical use by prohibiting unauthorized wiring and the use of non-compliant appliances. She highlighted drowning prevention knowledge and strictly forbade international students from approaching dangerous waters. Regarding holiday outings, Sun Shijuan clearly required international students to abide by university rules and regulations, prohibiting late returns and overnight absences. On fraud prevention, she used typical scam cases to explain techniques for guarding against telecom and online fraud, reminding international students to stay vigilant, be cautious in making friends, and protect their personal property. On travel safety, she urged international students to pay attention to traffic safety and enhance self-protection capabilities.
Finally, Sun Shijuan encouraged international students to plan their summer lives wisely, make full use of their time on campus to deepen language learning and consolidate professional knowledge, and enrich their self-improvement during the holiday. She also set clear requirements for academic atmosphere building in the new semester, warning all international students against complacency, advising them to adjust their study mindset in advance, strictly observe classroom discipline in the new semester, resolutely eliminate tardiness and absenteeism, and cultivate good study habits.
This safety education meeting precisely focused on the safety and management priorities for international students staying on campus during the summer, further strengthening their awareness of safety precautions, rules, and self-discipline, and laying a solid foundation for the college to carry out summer resident management work smoothly and build a strong campus safety defense.
为切实筑牢暑期安全防护屏障，强化留校来华留学生安全意识与自律素养，规范假期留校管理工作，保障来华留学生暑期在校学习生活安全有序开展，7月14日，国际教育学院召开暑期留校学生安全教育大会。国际教育学院、伦敦南岸学院直属党支部副书记、副院长孙世娟，学院全体辅导员及暑期留校来华留学生参会。
会上，孙世娟结合暑期校园安全工作重点与来华留学生在校实际情况，开展全方位、针对性的安全教育工作。她重点强调了日常安全管理核心要点，要求全体来华留学生严守宿舍管理规定，杜绝各类宿舍安全隐患，规范用电行为，杜绝私拉乱接电线、使用违规电器等危险行为。着重普及防溺水安全知识，严禁来华留学生靠近危险水域，杜绝溺水事故发生。针对来华留学生假期外出，孙世娟明确要求来华留学生严格遵守校纪校规，杜绝晚归、夜不归宿等违纪行为。在防诈方面，她结合典型诈骗案例，讲解电信网络诈骗防范技巧，提醒来华留学生提高警惕、谨慎交友、守护好个人财产安全。在出行方面，要求来华留学生注重交通出行安全，提高自我保护能力。
最后，孙世娟鼓励来华留学生合理规划暑期生活，充分利用留校时间，深耕语言学习、夯实专业知识，充实假期自我提升。同时，她对新学期学风建设提出明确要求，警示全体来华留学生杜绝松懈心态，提前调整学习状态，新学期严格遵守课堂纪律，坚决杜绝迟到、旷课等违纪现象，养成良好学习习惯。
此次安全教育大会精准聚焦来华留学生暑期留校安全与管理重点，进一步强化了来华留学生的安全防范意识、规则意识与自律意识，为学院平稳有序开展暑期留校管理工作、筑牢校园安全防线奠定了坚实基础。
